Taylor Momsen wore one of fall’s most dramatic trends, the extreme smoky eye, to the premiere of The Stepfather in New York City. Going out on a limb, Taylor somehow avoided looking like a racoon, and achieved a sultry look.

This year’s smoky eye is darker and just plain fierce. To achieve this look, blend a dark charcoal colored eyeshadow all the way around the eye at the upper and lower lashlines, leaving no space at the corners. Blend the charcoal eyeshadow onto the lid, up to the crease. Use light brown eyeshadow to blend from the crease up to the brow. Finish off with a few coats of mascara. Opt for false lashes for an extra dramatic effect.

The extreme smoky eye will give you the look of a stylish seductress on your next night out on the town. Don’t forget to go light on the lips and cheeks. A nude lipstick and light blush will allow your dramatic eyes to do all of the work for you.
